My First Award...

The amazing Missie from
The Unread Reader just passed along this Award to me. Thank you so much, søde (lol it means sweetie in Danish).

Here are the rules: Recipient must post their award on their blog mentioning the person that gave it to them. Then they must pass it on to 10 others & leave a comment on each of their blogs to let them know that they have won. You must also post 10 things that make you happy.

There are only 8 on my list because I don't really follow a lot of blogs.

And the award goes to:
Brandywine Battlefields-Living, Writing, and Homes (For just being a wonderful and supportive woman. I love you dearly, Yankee mom). Lindsay Jo Photography (Sweet, loving and beautiful person). Txone (My awesomesauce beta). There's No Place Like... (My American Sis. Fantastic writer and amazing artist).
Randomness at its Finest (Goddess and talented writer).
Kristin likes fiction (I love this blog. Great place for book recs).
The Unread Reader (I know Missie gave me the award and thus already has one, but she's done such a great job with her blog so she's getting another award).
Be Careful What You Wish For (I'm sending Pencula over with this award lol).

Hmm 10 things that make me happy? Honestly, it's all probably going to sound very cliché. They're not listed in order. - here goes:

- Knowing my dad is no longer suffering and is off somewhere having beers with Zeewriter's dad.

- Of course getting this award. I didn't even know there was such a thing as blog awards.

- My wonderful job (I never thought I would find a job as amazing as the one I have).

- My fanfic girls. I love you hard!

- Books!

- Remembering my Bff's 6 year old son lending me a teddy bear to cuddle with on our trip to Norway, and her 12 year old daughter giving me a home-made card (a mini pic of the New Moon movie poster) telling me how happy she was I decided to go on the trip with them (she signed the card "Team Edward").

- Pear pie and eating ice cream with a fork.

- My trip to NYC.

- My brother stopping by the shop yesterday with a cup of coffee for me.

- Getting a gift in the mail from my American family.
